HOLD is a series of coloured glass containers. The glasses can be used with or without wooden lids, and explores the idea of open/closedness. HOLD are something in-between products and art objects, and can be used for storage or merely as sculptural objects.
HOLD were first drawn in 2013 and exhibited as prototypes in Oslo, New York and Tokyo. In January 2015, the series was launched by the Norwegian glass company Magnor Glassverk, and included in their product range. All parts of the product are hand made in Norway.
