Dais

On show at Norwegian Structure, Ventura Lambrate, Milan.
Dais is series of ceramic plates fashioned from grogged stoneware, which is left rough at the sides but polished on top, giving them a smooth surface speckled with white. These can be used as serving trays or as podia for ornaments and other objects.
